This stone has been sanded and on it's way to the installation.

All soapstone is this color prior to receiving the mineral oil.

Mineral oil is available at any pharmacy.

The lower stone is the same one in the picture above.

If you get mineral oil on anything else, don't worry about it. It can be wiped off and any that remains will evaporate within a couple of days.
